Deer Creek Report
#1
I took the kids to Deer Creek on Monday. We also took some friends with us that have never been ice fishing before and everyone had a blast making great memories with our kids. The ice was about 7" thick and it got a bit slushy around the edges later in the day. We got there at 8 am and left about 4:00. It was really slow at first but then it picked up at about 11:00 for a couple hours and then slowed down again. The color of choice was white and pink. When it slowed down we moved around into several different depths and found that the shallow water produced the best. I've attached a photo of some of the fish we caught.

Just thought I'd share some detail since several of you have been very generous with your posts to help all of us out. Happy fishing!
