Gorgr ice

Looking for any kind of gorge ice updates. Got a trip planned for this Friday and Saturday and was wondering how the ice is holding up and the access onto the ice. Thanks in advance for any tips

I was there last weekend. Access at Anvil is easy. Ice is about 10-12" thick but Oxygenated and getting soft. We also took Road 8 just south of Buckboard to the end and fished there as well. Pretty much the same conditions in both places. Edges in some locations were getting iffy on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks for the info. How was the fishing? Any big fish photos?

Fishing was better farther north for numbers. No big fish this trip. Lots of 3-5lb pups and some decent Burbot in the evenings. Best success came In 60' of water close to a dropoff using 6" tubes and 3.5" Maniac Glo Cutter Bugs on a 3/4 ounce White round head jig. Find sucker meat down here if you can. If not here the Sports World in Evanston had some last weekend. Hard to get local in Manila.
