FISHFINDERS
#1
I AM LOOKING FOR A GOOD DEEPWATER FISHFINDER THAT CAN GET THROUGH THE "NOISE" OF NUTRIENT FILLED WATER. I FISH OFF OF MASSACHUSETTS AND WHEN I GET OUT TO 15 MILES MY APELCO 365 CAN'T SEE PAST 20'.
I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO STAY UNDER $500. ANY SUGGESTIONS.

There are several good units out there for less than $500. I would look for somthing with high power output. The Garmin 160 Blue goes for $239 and was designed for offshore. The Lowrance X-91 is $449 and has a better screen in it, but not is much power. If you have a unit in mind I would be glad to give you my $.02 worth.

With inflation you will have to add $0.03 to that so you will be giving the true value. Don't worry there is no charge for my input as it is truly worth not a thing.

Texas gulf cost fisher.

I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THE LOWRANCE X-15 BUT I AM NOT SURE I WANT TO SPEND THAT KIND OF MONEY WITHOUT KNOWING IF IT WORKS FOR WHAT I WANT IT FOR.
