#1
Is Lincoln boat launch iced off yet, and is it deep enough to launch
Spring fever I guess. Thanks

Iced off yes deep enough I don't think so. It's very low. That's just from looking at it from the road not getting in the channel.

Water depth is up about 6 inches from last year and good run-off coming in to the lake. I plan to launch just as soon as this cold spell passes. I launched in a foot of water last year and was able to squirm out the channel using my electric. The dock is floating now after resting on mud all winter. Launching probably depends on how big your boat is.

Same Spring fever here. Soon...

I launched at 24' pontoon boat today during the first of some sea-trials. I didn't have any problems, but I was very careful and paid close attention until I left the jettys and went north towards Bird Island.
Caution is the key word with this low water. It is my hope that the lake comes up a couple of feet in the days ahead.
I did notice several trucks at the warm springs and a half dozen anglers.
I didn't fish as I was having problems with the fuel filters, but when I return I will give the walleye a try. Good luck.

The only ice I saw on the lake is piled around bird island. Years ago we caught many walleye around the island when the ice was piled up, but I haven't tried it this early for 20 years!
