Taking care of your fishing rods is essential for longevity. Recently i've been purchasing high end cork-damaged rods & putting in a little time to restore them. I show the pics to the anglers who sold them to me and now they all want them back. Lol. After i purchase a rod i take the time to preserve the cork and till this day everyone of my +30 rods are still cherry.
