I don't know if anyone heard yet but this trophy lake just lost 100% of the fish. This lake was home to some monster rainbows and Cutts. Wish I could have fished it before this happened

Has this been confirmed? I could not find anything with my google search. I could not find anything recent on the DWR website. To me the photos are suspect given very little snow on the hills around there at that elevation. If this is true that is a tragedy especially given the efforts to keep the oxygen levels up in the lake to help prevent winter kill.

As per the DWR Facebook page. Looks like all is not lost yet.
Calder Reservoir update: Because of extremely low water levels, unfortunately there was significant winterkill at the lake. Our efforts — along with Trout Unlimited's aerator installation — weren't enough to keep the fish alive.
The good news is that today we successfully stocked 900 22-inch brood fish and tomorrow we're planning to plant hundreds more fish. If you head to Calder, expect low catch rates.

Not surprising, I was up there last year in June, and there were quite a few dead fish on the banks, and a fair amount of floaters as well. Pressure was really bad the last couple of years also, mostly due to a local fly shop advertising the size of the fish all over the web, which put a lot of pressure on this small lake/pond. With fish barely hanging on, being caught, and the ensuing struggle, can push them over the edge. oh well, it was good while it lasted, but they've lost it before as well, back in the 90's as i recall. in utah and with frequent drought, its hard to keep it viable.
