Today ended up being pretty good... Launched at 10 and didn't have a single hit for the first hour. Water temp was 54° and I was marking a lot of fish but couldnt get em to bite. So I went carp hunting for an hour, then went back to where I was marking fish.
At noon the temp was up to 56° and the wipers were much more active! I couldn't even get my second line out and was already booked up. I had the boat on the trailer by 1:00 and landed 6 total... Was tempted to stick around, but I had to be home for an appointment. All and all, was a decent few hours out. Good luck this weekend!
