gunnison bend

Has anyone fished gunnison bend lately just wondering about the walleye that left yuba.

I took friday off and drove down, the deepest water I could find was 6 feet. the entire reservoir with the exception of a fifty foot circle in the middle is frozen with about 5" of ice. I drilled about 12 holes down by the dike and spillway. I didn't see any fish on the finder and got no bites. after 2 hours I went up to D.M.A.D. I fished at the dam and drilled another dozen holes, the ice is about 6" and the water 12' to 15' I saw 3 fish on the fish finder and caught a 14" carp. I left after a couple of hours and went back to work.

I didn't see any holes at gunnsion bend and only 2 holes at D.M.A.D.

I have never fished at either place before, so I could have been fishing in the wrong areas.

i was wondering if there were any fish left it dmad after the drought. thanks for the info. 3 is more than none so far hehe.
