Strawberry - fast action

So I have heard a lot of mixed reviews lately on the berry, but after a morning of fly fishing my buddy and I stopped at the lake to toss some lures and we're we glad we did. We got to the dam right around 12:30 and we saw fish jumping right away. We started with a rainbow castmaster and a red and white dare devil. The first 5 cast with the dare devil produced 5 fish. Nothing on the cast master but a couple bumps. We both ended up using the dare devil and it was pretty steady action until about 3 when we glad to pack it in. We're were throwing a big and a small and it didn't matter. We probably landed 15-20 rainbows and 2 cuts. Nothing massive but all within a 15-17 inch range.

Agree there have been a lot of mixed reviews, but sounds like you had good success. Thanks for the report, things should only keep improving.
