Just wondering if anybody has been down to Fish Lake recently and how the fishing was?

One will typically have some knowledge of what has been going on the past few days.

Was down there 2 Friday's ago. Did my normal thing. Trolling pop gear and a worm. Let out all of my leaded line. Picked up different and bigger fish when we went deeper. Fishing was great. Lots of bows up higher. Caught 1 small Mack, 2 Browns, a couple splake down deeper. After a while I threw my Koke gear out for kicks and giggles but didn't get anything. It was pretty busy while I was down there.

I was down there last weekend. There is a ton of 10'' bows that just got planted that are hard to keep off the hook if your running shallow. My sonar screen took a dump on me as soon as I got on the water so I was fishing blind for the deeper fish. We did manage one kokanee that was 10'' but really thick! I can't wait for next year going after kokes down there. Some friends targeting macks caught some 15 to 20 lbs fish jigging. Still a bagillion perch in the weed lines. If you want to catch bigger fish you will have to get your lures below 20ft or the planters will keep you busy.
