Utah Lake Catfish Fun

Spent the morning of the 4th of July at Lindon Marina fishing for catfish. Caught half a dozen or so cats in a few hours ranging from 1 small 15" fish to the largest at around 25 1/2". Pretty standard catching for my very limited experience.

The first couple fish were caught on carp meat, then when a few overeager white bass decided to suck up a 2/0 circle hook, they became fresh bait. Looking forward to similar success tonight and tomorrow morning.

I was out there this morning and last night for a few hours. I did about the same with carp meat. If the wind breaks I will be out in the morning. I will be in an old white fiberglass boat and I usually have my BFT flag flying by the motor. Say hi if ya see me out there. I will likely be alone.
