I had a pretty good day at Lost Creek. Not sure how many I caught but I stayed busy most of the day. On previous trips i saw lots of fish suspended at 20-25 feet. I took some bottom bouncers and worm harnesses with me today to target them. Seemed to work pretty good. Several other boats were pulling pop gear and it looked like they also found some fish. Most of the fish caught were between 12 and 14 inches, but I caught four or five in the slot (15 to 22 inches), but nothing over the slot. On a positive note, it looks like Morgan County is finally filing some pot holes in the access road from Croydon. The bottom half is in pretty good shape, but the top still needs some more work.

Good to hear you were able to get your boat out on Fri....Once in awhile I'll fish from shore with a buddy who can't fish out of a boat anymore, so we were there on Sat. morning, fishing the right side of the boat ramp...What a zoo of boats and other misc. watercraft! Tubes, toons, dozens of fishing boats, 2 large party barges, kayaks, and paddle boarders were all out in force...good thing this res. is wakeless...we still mustered up some nice rainbows before 11a.m. from the shore, but had to holler at some kayakers (not fishing) that were going over our baits...I've had my boat here in the past, but I'm glad I have the opportunity to take it during the week..Never On Saturday!

Best part of being retired is fishing during the week. Friday, there was only myself, one other boat and a barge along with a handful of folks along the bank. I love this lake when it starts getting hot in the valley.

Roger that on the retirement benefit...3 good years for me now, and planning on a whole lot more fishing (and duck hunting) during the week...Lost Creek is a good little treasure for trolling, but I wish they had a small dock for load/unload...and that road up there rattles your nerves and teeth, as well as every nut and bolt on your boat trailer...certainly not an easy place to take your boat, but can often be good...
