I'm at deer creek today using my new raft and trolling motor, and caught a large trout, a small perch, and a stinking carp. Man those carp are everywhere. I would love to get on the bass and perch, and was wondering if there was anyone with a real boat that would want a fishing buddy? I'd help split gas and stuff.
Thanks

At the moment I just won't put my boat on Deer Creek. Basically I have no faith that I can get my boat decontaminated upon exiting.
The last time I was there, it was the middle of the week and earlier in the year so there was almost no traffic. I asked the DWR officer specifically if I'd be able to get decontaminated when I pulled off the water, and told him a specific time. Long story short, after much incompetence and run-around it took over 45 minutes to get my smallish boat hosed down before I left. I can't imagine what would happen if I asked this time of year.

It doesn't have to be deer creek, that's just the closest where I live in the valley. I just want to catch other fish than just trout and carp for once, I'm willing to go wherever else if your interested

I went fishing for bass along the shoreline of Rainbow Bay yesterday. Usually, I can catch a lot of bass there, but yesterday, all I got after more than an hour of fishing was a bluegill. Has something happened to the bass, or was I just unlucky?
