So I went on a tour again today to see what the situation at the harbors on the east side was.
AF Harbor: Less than 12" in the harbor, big rocks in the mouth of the harbor. AF has put barrels and ropes across the ramp, essentially closing it. No access at this time.
Lindon Harbor: According to the kid at the booth there is 18 inches or so in the harbor, but you are less than 12 in the channel going out. The Loys are using the harbor to fish carp, but they were out today, over by the big bay (sorry flat) between AF and Lindon. The kid said they were open, but launching is at your own risk and you run the chance of running aground trying to get out.
State Park: talked to them on the phone, still open, but launching is dicey. No estimate of how much water is left.
So, for all intents and purposes, Utah lake is shut down except for shore fishing and tubing if you can find a place to launch. Guy at AF stated that the water is as low as it will be this year, the water managers have stated they will not let it go lower.
Last thing. In glassing the lake from the shore, I could see large patches of Brown water, indicating that the algae has died and has begun to decompose. Will have to keep an eye on it !!
