I should be posting this on the Fly Fishing Page but it affects the gear guys too. I am practicing chucking the fairy wand for Powell in two weeks so wanted a few bass on some new ties to test. Lost count but near 20, ranging in size from 4" to 1.5 pounder. Was able to make it through some wind and a short deluge before I packed it up and head home.
Fish were all caught in 2-5 feet of water on a slow retrieve. Hit the long bank across from the State Park ramp and made the bend down the narrows.
