Mantua
#1
My first post, here goes. Fished Mantua yesterday the 7th, from the shore I caught 4 lmb from 1 lb 14oz to 12ozs. The fish I caught were in the no. side of the knoll, nothing on the so. side. Water is pretty ugly. I used blue and brown chatter baits. Fished from 9:00 to 12:00.

Thanks for the report. Mantua is a fickle water to fish. But there are some nice fish in there.

Water was getting that green film on it like it dose every year. The no. Was the best you could see fairly good, but the so. was bad.

Thanks for the welcome. I did forget to report that I reeled in a hole lot of weeds, they seem to be every where.

Thanks for the welcome. I did forget to mention that I reeled on a lot of weeds while catching the bass.

No need to mention the weeds. All you had to say was Mantua in September and we all knew what that meant. Welcome to BFT.

Don't forget it's a great ice fishing lake. We've caught several large, large mouth bass and nice perch.[reply][/reply]
