Well the wind, or lack of it today, compared to Friday was a relief. Was a beautiful sun up over the mountain. I hit ALL my favorite spots from the feed lot to Freeway Bay and back. Took over 4 hours to get any hits, but 2 young spotted kitty cats chased away the skunk, for today anyway.[:/]

My oldest son and I hit Willard Sat. Morning about 8:30 AM and fished until 1:30 PM, we fished Freeway Bay we ran one down rigger with a harness that accounted for one wiper and two other fish lost. We ran flicker shads one fire tiger and the other blue & silver on the planer boards, they resulted in 5 wipers boated and another 3 or 4 that came unbuttoned on the way in. No walleye or cats for us. Beautiful day with very few bugs and a slight breeze. Don't know if I will make it out on the soft water anymore this year but it was a pretty fair year of fishing for us both here and at Cascade in Idaho.

Tin-can, you were on the wrong side of the lake. Took my float tube and hucked it over the west dike about midway and let the breeze push me to the light pole. 14 cats on a Chrystal bugger, another 4 smaller kitties and a couple of nice wipers on a gulp minnow drifting behind me on my spinning rod. All were caught within 20 feet of the dike and the biggest kitties were sitting on the rocks.

Yep, that figures..........[:/] Last Wednesday I was all over the west wall from lite pole north to the pump house, and all the spots along Eagle Beach that normally start producing Cats this time of year. And all we caught was one medium Cat and some junior wipers.
Well I'll give the west area another shot this weekend if the weather stays nice.
Careful those big Cats don't stick a fin thru your waders layin there in your lap like that.....[mad] might hurt a bit.
Thanks for the info.[fishin]
