Left Layton at 0500 and on the water fishing by 0830.
I have never tried for the Macks but it was a fun day.
we boated 3 small pups and a few eelpout. lure of choice for me was a tube jig in chartreuse color and a hammered jigging spoon. I was marking fish all over the place from 93-63fow. all 3 of ours came from off the edge of the hump. We tried to go for some bass and that was a bust. The one good thing was the trout fishing was on fire and kept me busy. The trout were hitting anything in rattle trap size and gold color. Off the water at 3 and back home by 630
Bucket list fish C/W, sure was a fun day and was told it gets even better as the month goes on.
