went up to E-lake yesterday and give it a good try with the shiner repainted Rapala's.. started out slow but we did pick up about 10 fish all day and missed a lot of hit's most was on a small CD-7 repainted in shiner. and we did catch 2 tigers on a cutthroat painted pattern.. moet the fish we seen and caught were deep like 30 feet.. the boat ramp is way out of the water and getting muddy and getting hard to get in and out even were you can get it is very shallow so watch the prop.. lol

Hey Ron,
Congrats on getting out and catching a few. Electric Lake is one of my favorite places to fish. Did you take a picture of the boat ramp?

no pictures of the ramp there really is no ramp.. if you have a small boat and a 4x4 and get it in the morning while it's frozen it's not bad getting in and getting out i just use the wench on the traler the get the boat out. so i dont have to get to close the the mud and get stuck.

I don't have a small boat, so alas I will have to wait to fish it next year or through the ice.

might be able to get into the north end this year or at least close.. looked like a drilling rig was setting up.. up on the hill from the out house. i'm hoping that they will plow the road up to there anyway. [sly]
