I took the week off work and wanted to try some of my new equipment so i headed to scofield. I got to the lake around 11, and fished in the damn arm, west of the boat ramp. I was about 30 feet from shore in 12-14 fow. Worm is the bait of choice, meal worm didnt get much action and i couldnt find any waxies before i left. Ice was a solid 8-9 inches with about an inch of hard pack snow on top. Chub are still in the bottom half of the water column with the trout anywhere from 4-10 feet down. Next time ill be taking the 4wheeler with me.
On a side note, most of the chub were in the 6-12 inch range, the cuts and tigers were under 12 inches
