Took the kids to echo this morning. We landed 7 rainbow and missed that many hits.
Ice was 4-5 inches and clear. Edges looked soft. Be careful!

General question ?? Do you have to pay to park and access the ice at Echo ?? Never fished it during the winter, so I don't know what the rules are !!

No, but there is no vehicle access thru the result, gates are locked.

i fished 9 ft of water. but they are cruising just under the ice all over the lake. if yr in 40 ft drop 1 rod at ten and the other to the bottom for perch. we will be there after gand kid opens his stuff. noonish

We were in 12 feet of water. Most fish came 4-6 feet below the ice.
