Not safe!
[#800000]Well, maybe. This from another site as of yesterday afternoon:[/#800000]
Quote:Fished the docks at port ramp yesterday afternoon, measured 5in of ice all around the dock area. Only managed 6 perch in 32-40fow with a few misses in our group. Access is good at port just stay on the packed down trail going in. The parking lot is getting packed down good and there is plenty of room for parking. There was one tent off browning and one crazy guy out wandering on the ice from browning over to the tip of cemetery point by himself. The narrows are no where near fishable. The edges are a little soft but definitely not a deal breaker. Didn't see any crappie school cruising around just the perch hugging the bottom.
[#800000]With temps forecast in the teens and 20s for most of the next week, it should be good to excellent very soon.[/#800000]

Hey, better be careful who you call "a crazy guy!" [:p] I called a guy an Idiot, last week for being way out on Echo, all by himself. Turns out he seems to be very knowledgeable in reading ice and fishing. He was probably safer on the ice, than I was driving by on the freeway, looking down at him! I'm just rubbing my apology in my face. I really did not intend to insult. It just looked to be very butt puckering to be out there, alone and on new ice. We all appreciate you input, and knowledge that you so willingly share!

To the clowns that were out off Browning in the Tent Friday night....PICK YOUR SH** UP! They were probably the first ones out there so they know who they are.

BTW the fishing was slow for us last night. The bites were very light only got a couple. Moved around quite a bit.

That's one thing that drives me crazy. I am constantly finding garbage out there on the ice.
