Ice was 6 to 7 inches and clear and SLICK Glad I had my shopping cart sled to hang onto. I had several perch on but thank to unluck could not land more than one decent fish before they stopped biting . did catch some nice trout. the perch seemed to like chub meat the best, but it falls off the hook super easy
