May The Powerful Surgeonfish Be With You!
My friend Jared has changed his style of free lining from a pier. He's now trying an old fly reel instead of a spinner. He loves it! Personal preference. So this will be a fun "watch me fish" video for "Pualu" Surgeonfish. During the filming Jared explains his choices in line, hooks & knots. It's always a pleasure fishing with Jared. Just enjoy, almost like you were there alongside the action.

Pretty close. 3-5lbs. Occasionally a 7lb is caught.
