Let me try this again
#1
I think I made a post a couple of weeks back asking if there is anybody looking to move up to a ThunderJet boat.  Either I didn't complete the post, or it got deleted, I'm not sure.  If I did and it got deleted, the person (moderator) that deleted it didn't send me a PM telling me why it was deleted.  So, I'm asking again.  If this is inappropriate on this forum and my post is again deleted or moved to another forum, please let me know why.  I try to stay current with the policies of the website, but occasionally I miss something.  If you're interested in upgrading your boat, PM me.

I doubt anyone deleted it Bob but if you are trying to sell your boat that should be posted on the For Sale board. If you are just going to post info about the Thunder Jet Boats, just post it on this thread.

Tell me you're not giving up fishing?  I just hope you're getting a new boat!

If you insist - I am NOT giving up fishing!  I'm downsizing to a Lund 1675 Adventure Sport boat.  At the spritely young age of 82, I find it problematic manhandling the Thunder Jet solo.

I'm glad to hear that Bob!  I totally understand wanting a boat that one person can handle.  That is EXACTLY why, when I bought a new boat this spring, that I did not get a larger one, I wanted one I could handle easily.....with or without anyone helping.  My new one is a Tracker ProGuide V175 WT.  It has a 115 Merc and a 9.9 Merc Pro Kicker along with a Minnkota electric.  Love it so far!  Where did you pick up your Lund?

Thunder Jet is a very nice respectable sled. My 20' Columbia seems at times rough to handle but because I'm also a loner its hard to give up the space inside. I went thru a period redoing the inside which brings me to enjoy it a while longer since I still able.

I haven't done anything in this regard yet.  Just exploring the interest in folks looking to upgrade to a larger boat.  I'll be getting the Lund from Rogers Performance Marine at the boat show next year.  I consider getting another Tracker, but I like the features in the Lund better.  Both are good choices for sure.

That's quite a comedown in size and capability.  I think 20' is a good overall size for a fishing boat.  Although I'm considerably Wink  younger than you, I have no problem handling my 20' Hewescraft.  I especially like it when our local waters get to rockin' and rollin'.
