2025 Catfish Contest Standings

Here's the first update for the cat challenge and so far it is all John! it looks like team south has some catching up to do!

John (Ahi) has stormed into the lead, but we have 3 more people wit hentries this week. It looks like things are beginning to warm up (at least they were before our April snow storm!)

John is the first to brake the 90 inch barrier again this year. Way to go John! We are seeing more entires and the water is warming so things should get more active soon!

Things are beginning to warm up as 4 people have entered cats this week, including the best so far 31.5 by BLK. It will just keep getting better!

More good cats this week and they are starting to get black! The spawn will be in full swing soon. Pisco got a great cat at 32.5 and he has moved into a tie for the lead with Dirt Bag (who got a 31 this week). Mrs. J got on the board and I hope tha means we will see more good fish from the J's.

It is sometimes spotty during the spawn, but if you can find them they usually bite. Keep after them!

Yes, I do it on Wednesdays most weeks. It will be updated in a few minutes

Another good week with Mr. J getting to 3 fish over 30 and Old Guy getting on the board. The spawn is in full swing so we will enter the post spawn feed up soon. Things will just keep getting better from now until October. Get out and get yours!

I missed some fish for Mrs J, so I'm posting another update.

This update has a new biggest cat. Kent nailed one that was 34" and added 2 others at 30 to move into second place. Congrats! The spawn should be winding down and the best cat fishing of the years is just ahead of us!

Hi All,

Here is the update for July 30. The bigger cats are starting to show up again after the spawn and Mr and Mrs. J are taking full advantage. We also had a good cat entered by Ahi John. Great work and good luck.

Future? The Mods are saying that the site is going to go back down in the near future. If you want me to keep updating the cat contest, we probably need to do it via email until the site is back up.
