Dang it.  I'm still boatless and recovering from my shoulder replacement.  Still hoping to have the new boat this month.

Wasn't you suppose to get that new boat last month? Hope your rehab is going well on that shoulder Bob.

The boat order just made it to the assembly shop this past week.  Hope to have it in 2 to3 more weeks.  Therapy should have me up to speed to go by then.   Big Grin

Awesome, glad the therapy is going well and that boat is being assembled as we speak.

May I ask what boat you ordered? I ask because I picked up a boat last fall and am still figuring out how I want it set up. It’s my first so always looking to learn from folks who have more experience than I.

Adventure Sport 1775

Ordered it with Complete Vinyl Floor; no carpet.  It's 100% a fishing boat.  Max engine (Merc 115 Pro XS).  Minn Kota 24 vdc Ulterra Quest up front to troll with and 2 Cannon Mag 10 STX DRs.  Garmin Echomap Ultra 2 106SV Sonar w/transducer.  It's a good start but will require some accessories to make it perfect.   Big Grin

Start it all off by adding one rebuilt bionic angler.  Good luck on the rehab.

Very cool.  I did a similar setup with my Vexus but didn’t get the Ulterra and regret it.  Also haven’t splurged on a down rigger yet.  That’s probably my next big purchase.  Last fall I did 2 trips to the Gorge and 2 to Powell.  It’s been really fun having a nice fishing boat.  Can’t wait for Willard and Mantua to turn on.  Hope your new boat shows up soon!

Don’t you just LOVE those weekly build reports/pictures of your boat being built!
When I ordered mine in ‘16 I would get weekly updates and pics like boat coming out of mold, coming out of paint booth, tanks/wires being installed, pre/post motor installation, and finally being loaded on trailer then semi for delivery to me!
Makes me want to order another one just for the build pics!!
Enjoy yours Bob.

What build pictures?  I don't think they do that anymore.  At least the dealer (Rogers Performance Marine) hasn't sent me anything and Lund is notorious for not dealing directly with purchasers of their products - the only answer they will give you for any query is 'Talk to your dealer.'   Sad

Bummer.
Every week I would get an email with a pic or two of where my boat was at in the construction stage.
It was pretty cool to see tank, wiring, livewell plumbing, etc before it all gets covered up.
My favorite pic was it coming out of the paint booth.
Second favorite pic was seeing my power plant get hung on the transom.
For how much we spend, it would not kill Lund to keep a customer happy with a pic or three of a build.
Can’t wait to see your new boat Bob!
