Me and my friend Scott fished with Shawn and Juma today. We headed to light post corner and it was s little slow at first. But a good walleye chop on the water soon had us getting them, and oh boy, what a blast. The last hour between 9 and 10 we slayed them getting them on every pole. A triple then all four of us hooked up at the same time. Most on bottom bouncer and worms but the side planer and Flicker shad worked also. Four limits by 10. And one small wipper. Great morning.

Glad to hear they are still biting. Was there a color they preferred on the bber or flicker shad and how fast? Thanks!

We caught them on everything, purple was particularly good on bottom bouncers and cranks we varied the speed between 1.6-2.2mph.

It was great fishing with you guys, after you left Emma my 14 year old daughter who spent the morning sleeping in the truck waiting to be dropped off at her friends house after fishing wanted to go for a boat ride. As we were pulling off the dock she spotted four guys in a small aluminum boat in distress at the mouth of the north marina in the pretty heavy chop. Their boat was swamped and banging on the rocks. She pointed them out and asked if we should help them, I said yes, we should. We pulled up on them and asked if the wanted help pulling their boat back to the dock. As I was trying to get a rope from them my boat started to drift into the rocks and my daughter asked if she should get in the water and push me off which she did and took charge with the guys boat and got me their rope and we got them back to the dock. I was so proud of her she knew just what to do and took charge.

Way to go Emma. I'm proud of you too.
