FG 7-12
#1
A little late but we had web issues,  wife and I went back up to FG looking for lakers, using the information we have and following the instructions,  it is working better than any other way I have tried, at least there are fish in the boat now, still trying to fine tune stuff.

A 38 and 27 incher  and we both fought one other and had a couple hits,  just like fishing when you think you know something the fish change it up,

We went yesterday 7 27 and not even a tap, tried all that we had, changed it up several ways with out even a bump, hopefully next time.  might be a while before we get back up there, wedding, and hunting season starting only a couple weekends free till november.

Nice, those a couple of great macks and doing it with your wife had be be a plus. That's fishing for you, what works one time, might not work every time. Did you try for any kokes while you were there?

I was up there last week. Kokes were deep and I only fished for Macks for the first hour and a half from about 5 AM to 630. at the fish station I saw some fish that are starting to turn

Mostly seen 67-69 deg in the main part of the lake,  up in shallower would see 70+ , we caught the bows marking them at 40 so we dropper them down to 55-60 found kokes, it was in the horse shoe bend, got tired of bouncing from the power squad.

That horse shoe canyon area is brutal for the waves from any boat, I'm sure those wake boats would be crazy in that area.

there is still 7 ft in the cut, so the sores shoe is wake less, some even can read that and follow the rules
