Wyoming Green River
#1
Here's some pictures of several trips over the last 3 months or so on the Green river.  Fish caught with lucky craft and Rapala jerkbaits, Tubedude's maribou jigs and ol yella... a plain Mepps Aglia size 2. Got my daughter out on the river a few times and got her into nice fish as well.  Miss fishing Utah but the Green keeps me busy and has great fishing just a few minutes from the house.

Great looking bows, cuttys and brown, especially that hook jawed brown, do you think it was over 5 lbs? Thanks for sharing your pics with us.

Thanks brother.  Not sure why half were attachments and half were directly inserted.  Not sure on the weight.  I just recently started packing a little sewing tape with me so I can measure the big ones.  The biggest rainbow I've caught over there that I put a tape on has been 19 in but there were a couple I caught that were longer I believe. The longest Brown I've measured was 22. There are some monsters in there though. I like reading all the reports from Utah, especially about Utah Lake since that was my old stomping grounds pretty frequently during the summer. I miss catfishing because unless I go clear over to the eastern part of my state we don't really have much.  The thought of Grizzlies along the river scares the hell out of me as well so I don't venture North as much as I probably should to find good fishing.  I've always enjoyed sharing stories and fishing reports with like-minded individuals so if any of you Utah folks are headed my way, hit me up and I will help as much as I can getting you on good fish on the Green River.

Trying.... can't seem to pry myself off the river long enough to go scout for elk but I'm not disappointed about it.

Some problems are better than others.
