Hey all anyone been to Starvation recently.

Hey all,
This is Majja ghost of fishing past.  Well know that kinds are starting to get all grown up and dad is getting back to some fishing.  we will be packing up the old trailer and heading to Starvation over Labor Day weekend and my tube is just a akin to get wet.   I see the rules have changed a bit with a total limit of just 10 pan fish.  I will be looking for the eyes any way.  We will be staying in the main CG but am willing to drive around as I have mostly fished Rabbit Gultch before.

Since I am basically having to buy a bit of new gear can anyone offer some advice on baits that are pretty successful for an old fat tube angler.  So any tidbits of wisdom that you would not mind throwing my way I sure would appreciate it.

Again Than you in advance
Majja

A bright colored jig head with or without a curl tail grub is usually a good bet up there for walleye and perch, as well as SMB, and rainbows. Crawfish colored crankbaits, Ned rigs and curtails cast along shoreline structure from
Right near the Nanci down to 20 feet or so should get you some SMB action and maybe walleye as well.
Good luck!

Don't forget the good jig and half a crawler, rocky shorelines and cliffs by the bridge

I like to run a jig head under a slip bobber as well. Gives great depth control.
Beetle spins worked down the bank, shallow to deep with either a twister tail, gulp or paddle tail with a bit of crawler.

Troll Rapalas from sunset to after dark.
