Rockport -- rinse & repeat
#1
Another good morning of bass & perch.  Fished from 7-11:30.  Wore a sweatshirt & sweatpants, and no sunglasses for the first time this season.  Cloudy & cool (43 at launch --- 73 when I came off), plus a continuous ripple.  Bigger bass still patrolling the big boulders.  Got my two meals of perch fillets, tho only one jumbo this time.  Perch hanging in the 10-20' range, and they are finally thick along the east side of the dam. Water 65.  North side of the ramp has run out of cement (been closed for a few weeks), while south side is leveling out horizontally and difficult floating your boat off.  Better align right next to the courtesy dock or you're gonna get wet feet climbing in & out of the truck.

Thanks for the report.
I was up there for the first time this year last Friday jigging for perch from my kayak. It was a Blast, most were under 8”, but I did keep some over 8”, including one 11.75 incher.
It was a lot of fun. I hope to get back, but it’s getting to be the time of year that I take the grandkids to strawberry in the boat to jig for Cutthroat’s.
