Vi and I took a break from canning peaches today and took a ride up to the Berry so Vi could see the spawning koke's. It was an evening viewing between rain showers when we got there. Didn't see any in the creek between the road and the trap. In the raceways there were maybe two hundred. A couple that we talked with, said there were a few in the pool at the viewing point east of the road.
From what I know it looks like the run is just starting.

I was there last Tuesday and stopped by the stream on the way home and didn't see any in the stream. Like you I don't think it's really started yet.

We too have been processing peaches for over a month now, our best season yet on peaches glad you were able to break free to check out those spawning kokes.

We went down to the mouth of sheep creek river at Flaming Gorge and the DNR had traps set and had been collecting eggs. Was neet to see the amount of salmon in the traps.

Does anyone go up the Provo River in Jordanelle to watch them ???

I did last year. Quite a few running up the river. Better scenery and viewing versus Berry.
