Willard and a boat

I haven't been to Willard but have been looking at the posts everybody is putting on and it is bringing a tear to my eye. I was wondering from you who have seen it first hand, could you get a little aluminum boat on with a trolling motor. I imagine you would have to carry it a ways, and can you actually use it once you get on?
