i herd deercreek has people fishing on it last week it was froze over but unsafe dose anyone know if its safe or just a couple nut on the ice

On my way home from Jordanelle yesterday I saw some people out on the ice though there wasn't too many, maybe a handful around 2:30 or so. There were more people in Rainbow Bay than anywhere else.

I fished Deer Creek last Friday. Ice at Rainbow Bay was about 4 inches, and started to thin a bit out toward the middle of the bay. We did not venture beyond about 25 ft. of depth. Fishing was slow. Caught a few rainbows and one brown. Checked the ice by the island and it was a bit thinner. Only about 2 inches 100 yards from shore.
