Enterprise and Newcastle conditions?

Was thinking to try hitting enterprise or newcastle reservoirs this weekend. Does anyone know current conditions? I am new to area not too familiar with their winter conditions. Has ice formed yet or is it still all open fishing water?

I am assuming these reservoirs do completely ice over in winter to allow ice fishing?

You can ice fish both lakes. They have safe ice during cold snaps but tend to get unsafe during mild weather. Newcastle has open water from the boat ramp to a 100 yards from the dam. There was 2.5 inches near the dam and inlet on Friday. I did manage to ice a couple 8 inch bows.

You might catch something at Enterprise but there are better places to ice fish.
