Last minute plans traveling to buckboard via I-80 thru Green River early Thursday morning from utah.
Plan on launching 6am-ish.
Is there a 24 hr store to purchase the required stamps along the way.

You can buy a sticker on-line and then print up a temporary that is good for about 2 weeks if I remember right. They mail your sticker to you pretty fast.

There are many places in getting the reciprocal stamps and I wouldn't rely getting it on line. For more information on obtaining a Wyoming reciprocal fishing permit, call the Wyoming Game and Fish Department at (307) 777-4600 Your time table is too short. Some business's in Green River also have AIS decal but couldn't tell you where. Wyoming F&G should be able to tell you where to get them too.

Thanks guys. I bought the mussle sticker this morning on line and printed the receipt. In years past I've bought it in Manila and the actual sticker is mailed to you, so you have the receipt as proof. I'll stop somewhere like Walmart in Evanston to get the reciprocal licence.
Thanks for the help.

So the WY regulations are very clear that prior to launching or on the water of an out of state boat you MUST HAVE the proof of an inspection.
That being said, they show an inspection station at Anvil Draw that is supposed to be open at 6:30.
How is that road going into Anvil? Is it paved? Can I pull my 20' Trophy down that road to launch or is it like the crappy road to Lost Creek?

You can buy sticker and license at Ace in Green River, nice big parking lot for tow rig and boat.
Anvil Draw road is maintained gravel.

The Anvil road is a good dirt road, a little dusty sometimes. I just drive slow and it's not bad. The inspection station is right off the highway so you could hit that and go where ever you want to launch. They also inspect at Buckboard.
If you put in at Lucerne and drive your boat into Wy do you still need proof of inspection? I would think most the out of state boats on the lake could get a ticket for that.
