Fished electric lake. The boat ramp is still useable even though the water level is very low. Caught a limit of mix Kokes and tigers but had to work for it. I was using downriggers with dodgers and squid of varying colors. all caught fish.

We were there two weekends ago and limited out on Kokanee as well. Most of them were 10 to 13 inches but we got a couple 15-16 inches. Even the larger ones didn't have a lot of girth to them, but they were fun to catch.

Most are 10-14" with a big one being 16". I wish they would get Strawberry size but I don't see that happening.

Any idea on how much longer the ramp will be usable?

Hard to say, but I bet you have a couple weeks at least.

Anyone been back up to Electric since this last post? Just curious what the current ramp situation is. Heading down to chase some kokanee and trying to decide between Electric and Fish Lake.

I was told the ramp is still useable but haven't been there personally. I will be going in the next few days and will report then

I know some guys that fished Electric Lake last Friday and they had no problems launching their boat.
The reservoir level has only dropped another 9" or so since then so you should be okay.
Good Luck!

we fished Electric yesterday evening. The ramp is still usable but just barely. I imagine with in a week we won't be able to put boats on there.
We caught our limit of kokanee and they are starting to change colors rapidly.

We fished it Sunday and the ramp is still pretty good, too many people fishing it, but it was a holiday weekend, we did catch some nice fish as we usually do there, but these were extra nice, I will have to get the pics from my sons phone. I was really surprised by the size of some of the boats on the lake, we fish it a lot and are usually the only ones out there. I’m sure we will be picking up everybody’s trash that SOME People leave behind next week. 4.5 lb, beautiful cutty caught by my son who outfished me good this week. We caught them trolling, jigging with gulp minnows and a few on dead shiners dead sticking.

Are you able to see schools of kokanee on your fish finder or just scattered fish?
