Snake River below American Falls question

I fished below American Falls dam yesterday and found the water was extremely stained with muddy water. I understand that it is a result of American Falls Reservoir being so low (I assume the result is with low water that The Snake River cuts through exposed sand bars and muddies the water). Is there any chance that the water will clear by the middle of October, or are we stuck with stained water until next spring?

Not sure how it all works, but have read that Ririe is used in the fall to add water to the snake river, so if that's the case the river below American falls should clear up some.

Thanks, I sure hope so.  I wish that I lived closer so that I could regularly check the water conditions there.
