Hey everyone
I was just wondering if there was a site like this for hunting around eastern Idaho. I have been trying to find one but I just haven't found one yet. If there is that would be great to know. Thanks

We have a general hunting site but nothing specific to Idaho only. Sorry my friend but the best I can offer is maybe a search thru Yahoo, google, or such will produce something.
As the Idaho board continues to grow then maybe we can look into expanding our sub boards and offer that.

I thought I would bring this post 'back to life' I think it would be a great idea if we could begin a hunting post area for Idaho. Moderator, how can we make that happen? Most the people on here who fish also hunt so there is gotta be a way we can make a site like this for hunting in Idaho. Anyone who supports this idea should voice there support and maybe we can make it happen. Thanks.

This is a great idea. Yes indeed, many fisherfolk are hunters as well.
This is what we can do:
1. Lets start showing the need for our own Idaho independant hunting board by posting on the General hunting board here at BFT. You may find that his board is very informative and a great place to share info. Doing this will help me push for step #2
2. If we have a strong enough member need then I will place a request to the system administrators for our own sub board that is Idaho specific for hunting. I have to show a justification/need to do this.
As we grow here at BFT Idaho, I hope that you all make more suggestions for "YOUR" board and I will see what can be done to accomodate.

I would also like a hunting board added.
What does everyone else hunt for?
I've hunted close to everything in Eastern Idaho (grouse, ducks, geese, rabbits, elk, deer, antelope, mountain lion, black bear, coyote, fox, rock chucks, ground squirrels, shed antlers). I hunt with a bow and rifle and a couple times with a muzzleloarder.
Mule deer have been my main focus the last 5 years.
