Hello Everyone, I am new to this board but post every once in a while on Utah on the Fly and Utahwildlife.net.
First let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been fly fishing for about 10 years now. I grew up in Logan and learned to fish on the Logan River and other streams in Cache Valley and Southern Idaho. I moved to Salt Lake 3 years and am learning how to fish the Provo and Weber rivers. I work for the Juvenile Court and am married to a woman that loves to fly fish as much as I do [
]
Since moving to Salt Lake I have got involved with the Local Trout Unlimited Chapter, the Stonefly Society. . We are in the process of planning the Wasatch Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Expo. This is by far the largest fly fishing event in Utah. We will have over 60 vendors, workshops, banquet, competitions, drawings,casting ponds (come demo a rod or get a casting lesson), and much much more. Come check it out! The best thing about it is that the money raised from this event go to conservation and education programs.
I look forward to posting some more and getting to know some people on this forum. Tight lines!
