Ice conditions?

Want to go for an overnight trip. Trying to make a call. Anyone live in the area?

5-6 inches solid ice. You will have no problem with safe ice.

Use some caution in areas. While the lake is generally safe, joes valley does have some warm springs (there are useually small open water holes where these are.) You can generally see them, however on real cold days I have saw where thin ice will form temp and snow will hide them
Most of them are in and around seeley cove (by the west side boat ramp) But they do occur in other areas. Don't want to s
