Strawberry 4-21-16
#1
Inspired by recent reports, I fished Strawberry for a few hours after work yesterday. My only fish was a cutthroat that took a size 10 black wooly bugger.

There are still stretches of shoreline with no open water, but there are also a few places with enough water to fish from a tube--which several people were doing. I'm not sure my report is evidence that fishing was slow. I saw someone else catch two, so maybe others were doing better than I did. It was still a great spring evening on the water.

Thanks for posting your report and pics, won't be long before that ice is gone, if it isn't already[Wink].

It was not open when i was there, but that is old information now. I likely won't be back till I get discouraged with turkey hunting. Probably someone around here has a more current report.
