Had the erge to sit at the vise again,just to tie some basics.I was going to tie hairs ears when I came across a Fox Squirrel hyde in my dads old tying stuff. Wow,did these hairs ears turn out cool,buggy,varigated hair color. Tied some 21inchers and golden stones with it too.

If I am remembering correctly I think Dave Witlock tied one that he called a Red Fox Nymph. It was his go to fly. It is basically a Hare's Ear tied with fox instead.
I will have to look it up and see if there is a picture of it.

Been struggling with cameras all day,I was going to post a pic. in the begging. still didn't get a photo I am happy with. but it does show how buggy they are. the ones on the right are hare's ears on the left are 21 inchers.
