So had a friend Friday tell me plenty of water still in Chesterfield. Hit lake at first light. Only four camping groups around whole lake. Maybe 10 boats on lake total. I would guess lake is still at 80 percent full. Docks all in water. The two of us boated 19 fish by 3:30 averaging about a fish every half hour. Not bad for the middle of July. We bonked two five pounders and two three and a halfs. One of the big ones has a tag in it. Looking forward to taking it to F&G and getting data on growth rate. Other big one had some unhappy fishermans line busted off above his liter. Here are a couple of pictures. And all those fish were caught trolling....in the middle of summer....pretty cool! Those fish measured out at 23.5,22.5, and two 19.5.
