Sorry for the late report, but got out with some good friends and family for a little morning trip. Glad to see no ice, but I'm not too fond of snow up to my knees every step. Thank goodness for snow go's! Got out on the ice about 15 minutes before light. Only had one bite in that period time, and got the fish up to the hole. Took us a good 30 minutes to shovel out our city of tents. Started fishing and got in a couple fish right after light. It stayed fairly steady till about 10:30. Picked up for about 45 minutes around 11:15. Just using ice cutrs with shrimp and meal worm. Happened to take a picture of a fish with my bobber under the water too...... that was frustrating! LOL. Anyways. Overall it wasn't a slow day, but wasn't hot by any means. With a group of 7 people, 5 actively fishing, we ended up with only 26 fish.... whatever. Hopefully it heats up soon.

How thick was the ice up there and was it still a bunch of slush or has that finally gone away? I'm actually heading up there this Friday, too for some night fishing. Was going to bring my sled, but wondering what the slush situation looked like?

I was up there this past weekend with snowmobiles and had no issues with slush at all. We drove all the way to Renegade. Remember to bring a snow shovel because there is more than a foot of snow on the ice in order to drill some holes.

Tell me how the night fishing goes. I've never had good luck at all in the evening. Mornings I can average 15-20 fish. Evenings I can barely get 4 fish on average. Slush is fine. Snow is deep tho!

Plenty of ice! Solid 10 inches of nlavk ice with 12 of solid frozen slush on top. No slush. Ton of snow. Tell me how it goes, again, I have never had good luck at night there.

Haha not necessary. I've done it enough this year I don't need to run it in anymore. [Wink]
