If the water temperature is up above about 70 deg., the slabs may be moving out to deeper water again. They will venture shallow for shorter periods and stay shorter times.
Soooo, without knowing more, it could be a timing issue, temperature issue, or maybe you were just in a small fish school.

I'm heading up there in the morning I'll let you know if I'm able to catch anything bigger then that and where I will be

Gertsen is at the end of the long arm north of your arrow. There is a small stream, Gertsen, that runs under the road and into the reservoir at that end. Your arrow is usually called the Spring Creek arm, the creek runs in southeast of where your arrow is located.

I had the same luck as you.I caught probably 30+ fish all under 5" my biggest crappie was maybe 7"and besides for the mudcats all the perch and crappie under 5".water temp was 67 at launch and 71 when I was leaving
