Fished at Daniels on Saturday along with everyone else trying to get the last trip in before it ices up. Water temp was 37 and air temp was warm enough that I didn’t need a jacket. Larger ones were 5-10 ft down. Leeches seemed to work best. Water clarity was good.

How was the water level?

I'm thinking about trying it on Black Friday if it hasn't frozen by then.

Water level was about where it was a couple months ago it seemed. Didn’t seem real low. I would guess it’s a couple weeks from icing up

If this weather holds for awhile I don't think it will freeze before Thanksgiving.

The fish are probably because I fished a lake today that was colder two weeks ago.[]
