Mantua Ice

Does anybody know how thick the ice is on Mantua? Thinking about taking the kids up there tomorrow.

I ventured out on Friday near the boat launch. Everywhere I measured was 6+ inches. Will probably be out there tomorrow also.

Thanks for the post, did you make it out? How was the crowds? I haven't been to Mantua yet this year and I'm kind of missing it... I may have to give it a try for my gill fix... Thanks Jeff

How was the catching, any size to the fish?

Went up there this morning and everywhere we measured was 6-8 inches of ice. Talked to one guy who said he caught 1 Bluegill, several perch and trout. As for us, we didn't get a bite. We were fishing just off the boat dock.
