most of rabbit is well over a foot of ice....ironically though toward the east before you enter main bay is a good size area of open water as of last weekend.

I can't speak for bunny gultch, but I have been lots of other spots last week on Starvation and found the ice to be fine and the fishing to be horrible. I tried Juniper point, Indian bay, and by the bridge in multiple spots and depths. Only one fish marked that looked at my lure the entire morning of fishing. It was in 30 ft of water by Juniper point. I am guessing it was a perch by how slow it came up to my lure. Something really weird is going on with that lake. I usually can find some willing fish to bite. Starvation is a ghost town. I know of buddies that found some decent perch before the Starvation classic and even in those spots, nothing.
I don't know when I will be back.
